libsdl1.2debian software package provides Simple DirectMedia Layer, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libsdl1.2debian
libsdl1.2debian is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libsdl1.2debian package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libsdl1.2debian *
You will get with libsdl1.2debian package name, version, architecture and description in a table
